My simple pleasure is, oh, so simple.
I live in a small rural town, and every year the flower boxes in the main street have a display of either petunias or pansies. I have never really stopped and contemplated these flower boxes. That is, in the way of simply enjoying their beauty.
It won't be long now and the Council men will be preparing these boxes with pansies for a Spring display.
I am joining with Dayle at Simple Pleasures.
.
They are a really cheerful, pretty flower and do make the main street look lovely.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!! I love a town with civic pride and beauty, and I particularly love planters. Those, however, are the prettiest that I've ever seen.

Hi Mave,
ReplyDeleteIt's always lovely when councils spend the time to make the streetscape preety and inviting. It adds a little pleasure to shopping trips.
God Bless

I've never seen a flower box I didn't love. It's wonderful for cities to take time to beautify them for those who live there, or just pass through.
