Refreshing Rain

It has rained continuously here in the Adelaide Hills for the last day. This is unusual for this time of the year. But everything around has been washed clean.
I went for a walk this afternoon to the Victoria Creek not far from home. It was so beautiful to see the water foaming over the weir.
I live in a grape-growing area and the growers are busy picking grapes. They do not want the rain or the high humidity of today. But the Father has sent the abundant rain.

Today I am thankful for:

65.  The rain.
66.  The reflections in the water.
67.  A camera to take photos.
68.  The sound of running water.
69.  Puddles to jump over.
70.  A duck in the creek.
71.  The quiet after the rain.
72.  Having time to walk along the creek.
73. Having time to think and reflect on the Father's goodness to us.

I am joining with Ann and many others as we share thankfulness at  A Holy Experience.

  1. Wow, that is high. I don't think I've ever seen it like that. The rain was beautiful, it just soaked into the ground.
