Well that was the game one grand-daughter designed for her younger sister's ninth birthday party.
It gave us such pleasure watching young girls spin around and then aim at the head.
The unicorn looked like a two-humped camel in the end! Here he is before extra horns were added
This is my simple pleasure for this week.
I am sharing with Dayle at Simple Pleasures.
How cute is this, and I know it was fun, I have had to pin the tail on a donkey, but not a horn on a unicorn.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Sue
I've never heard of that game but it sounds like they had a great party, Mave!
ReplyDeleteIt's so good to become childlike and join in with the fun :-)
bless you..Trish
It looked like it was a fun afternoon.
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun! The closest I ever came to something like this was "Pin the tail on the Donkey."
ReplyDeleteWarning! Do not get close to me when I'm blindfolded and have a pin in my hand. :)
Blessings,
Joan
How cute....and what a blessing to be able to see your grand daughters and enjoy, a true pleasure
ReplyDeleteThat's such a cute idea! I can only imagine the giggles as blindfolds were taken off.
ReplyDeleteDid Grandma try it?
Hi Mave,
ReplyDeleteI've never had to 'draw the horn on the unicorn'(love the rhythm of the name).... BUT....I once had to let my blindfolded daughter-in-law put make up on me at a baby shower party. The result was very funny.Glad you all had fun.
God Bless

I miss old birthday party games. Such a nice simple pleasure.
ReplyDeleteHello Mave...Well, can't say as I have ever had to draw a unicorn horn while blindfolded! ha! Fun, fun, fun.
ReplyDeleteI want to thank you for your visits and comments to my blog! Have a great day. Sincerely, Susan
I know you had a great time. I have always loved the game Pin the tail on the donkey!
ReplyDeleteI have a little grand named Petra who will love to pin the horn on a unicorn so much more fun than to pin the tail on a donkey.
I've never seen this one played out, but always enjoyed the "pin the tail on the donkey" version. A true simple pleasure, watching kiddos play.
