It's time to join again with Dayle at Simple Pleasures.
Two granddaughters love him too, and he has caused much mischief and laughter.
He has been with my youngest granddaughter for a while, and you will see in the photo how he came back home!
Old Bear is a bearer of love.
What a cutie pie! Is that a broken arm though? When my daughter was little she loved one of her baby dolls (originally belonged to me) to the point of it needing new everything, including hair. :) Glad Old Bear made it home. He certainly is a simple pleasure.
ReplyDeleteWas she playing doctors and nurses? He has a very well bandaged arm!
ReplyDeleteMy sister really loved playing with Old Bear.
ReplyDeleteI played doctors with her once and she really enjoyed pretending that he had a broken arm. By the way, thanks for letting me borrow that bandage when I had strained my leg at my netball carnival. Hope your going well.
awww. what happened to him? He is really cute....I love bears.
ReplyDeleteHe looks well-loved and very well cared for! And happy to be home lol!
ReplyDeleteA lovely simple pleasure, Mave. Everyone loves bears -or should! :-)
blessings..Trish
Nothing like an old worn teddy! Cute! Hope he stays around for years to come.
ReplyDeleteAwh, this warms my heart. Love that sweet bear. I could see how he'd be a simple pleasure along with all those special memories.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my little corner. Enjoy your day.
Oh he is just too cute sitting in his little chair...reminds me of Pooh. I hope his arm gets better.(-: And, thank you for stopping by to visit me.
ReplyDeleteHow cute is that?? I'm like the others and want to know what happened to Old Bear's arm.
ReplyDeleteThis has to be one of the sweetest simple pleasures this week.
sweet ..........
ReplyDeleteSomewhere in a closet is a toy squirrel with a bandaged arm....given to our oldest son when he broke both bones in his right arm the first recess of first grade! That was about 25 years ago!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh, Old Bear is a real sweetie pie. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and commenting. You are always so welcome! Susan
ReplyDeleteOld Bear is certainly a well loved treasure!
ReplyDeleteOld Bear is a real cutie! I love this, "Old Bear is a bearer of love."
ReplyDeleteI'm reminded of my childhood teddy bear (wish I still had him). He had one eye. Nowadays, he wouldn't be considered "safe" for children because of his glued on eyes, but he was precious to me.
Blessings,
Joan
Your daughter did a good job making your bear! Your granddaughter did a good job with the bandage! Such a sweet simple pleasure.
ReplyDeleteSo happy to meet you via Simple Pleasures. Thanks so much for you kind comment over at my blog! Love your sweet bear!
