Prodigality

Joining with Dayle for Thursday's Simple Pleasures.

My simple pleasure is sharing the enormous slices of home-baked bread cut by my grandson.

I couldn't help but think of God's generous giving to us all.
There is always fruit that falls to the ground.
There is provision for the birds and animals.
His love overflows and is lavished upon us.

  8. You're speaking my language, for sure. Nothing like fresh bread ... both in the physical and spiritual worlds. I love how you weaved it all together. Thanks so much for linking up today.

  12. Mmmm. Looks good! I found a recipe from my Independent Living class from high school for sour dough bread that I want to make this weekend. I remember it tasted so good then so I certainly hope it turns out 20 some odd years later. :) Best wishes, Tammy
